Content Policy & Code of Conduct
The rules everyone on Knock Knock follows — prohibited content, conduct, and enforcement.
Effective date: 2026-08-07
1. Purpose & Who This Applies To
Knock Knock ("Knock Knock," "we," "us") connects creators with people who want live, on-demand access — video and audio sessions, bookings, messaging, and the sale of digital and physical goods. This Content Policy & Code of Conduct ("Policy") sets the rules for everyone on the platform: Creators (people who list and deliver experiences or sell goods) and Guests / Customers (people who knock, book, buy, or join sessions).
This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Consumer Terms of Use and the Creator/Merchant Terms of Use. Violating it is a violation of those Terms. Where this Policy and the Terms of Use overlap, both apply; where a specific term is stricter, the stricter term controls.
By using Knock Knock you agree to follow this Policy at all times — in live sessions, in messages, in listings and profiles, in recordings and clips, and in any content you upload, display, sell, or share.
2. Eligibility — You Must Be 18 or Older
Knock Knock is an 18+ platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, list or deliver experiences, knock, book, join a session, or transact.
- Account creation requires affirmative 18+ attestation (you confirm you are 18 or older and provide your date of birth).
- Providing a false age, or creating or using an account on behalf of anyone under 18, is a serious violation and grounds for immediate removal.
- If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we will suspend and remove the account. If we learn a session involved a participant we reasonably believe to be under 18, we will act immediately, including termination and, where appropriate, reporting to authorities.
3. Prohibited Content — No Adult or Explicit Content
Knock Knock is a general-audience creator platform. The following content is strictly prohibited, in live sessions, recordings, clips, messages, profiles, listings, thumbnails, uploads, and anywhere else on the platform.
3.1 Adult / sexual content (zero tolerance)
This prohibition is absolute and enforced with removal teeth (see Section 7). It is what keeps Knock Knock a general-audience, payments-safe, app-store-safe platform. There is no "mature," "private," or "off-platform" exception.
- Nudity, sexual or sexually explicit acts, or sexually suggestive performances.
- Pornography, camming, sexual services, or content whose primary purpose is sexual arousal.
- Sexual solicitation, escorting, or arranging sexual services.
- Fetish or "adult entertainment" performances.
3.2 Illegal or dangerous content
- Content that facilitates or promotes illegal activity, violence, or physical harm.
- Sale or promotion of regulated, restricted, or illegal goods (drugs, weapons, controlled substances), counterfeit goods, or stolen property.
- Human trafficking, exploitation, or any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. Any content that sexualizes minors results in immediate termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
3.3 Hateful, harassing, or abusive content
- Hate speech or content that attacks, degrades, or promotes violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, doxxing, or targeted abuse.
3.4 Deceptive, harmful, or infringing content
- Fraud, scams, deceptive offers, fake reviews, or misrepresentation of who you are or what you provide.
- Impersonation of another person, creator, or brand.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity/likeness, or other rights you do not own or have permission to use.
- Malware, spam, phishing, or attempts to move payments off-platform to evade fees or protections.
- Regulated professional services delivered without required licensure where the law requires it (e.g., practicing medicine or law without a license). Creators offering guidance in regulated areas must not hold themselves out as licensed professionals unless they are, and must include appropriate disclaimers.
4. Code of Conduct — How Everyone Behaves
Whether you are a Creator or a Guest, in live sessions, messages, or anywhere on Knock Knock, you agree to:
Creators additionally agree to: deliver sessions and goods as described; honor booking commitments and be present for scheduled/queued sessions; handle Guest information responsibly; comply with tax, licensing, and consumer-protection obligations applicable to their own goods and services (see Creator/Merchant Terms of Use).
- Be lawful. Do not use Knock Knock to do anything illegal or to facilitate anything illegal.
- Be respectful. No harassment, threats, hate, intimidation, or abusive behavior toward other users or toward Knock Knock personnel.
- Be honest. Represent yourself, your experience, your offerings, and your prices truthfully. Deliver what you advertise.
- Respect boundaries and consent. Do not pressure anyone into sexual, illegal, or unsafe activity. A Creator or Guest may end a session at any time for any reason.
- Respect privacy. Do not share, record, screenshot, or redistribute another person's private information, image, or session content except as expressly permitted by our recording/clip consent rules (Section 5) and our Privacy Policy.
- Keep it on-platform. Do not solicit payments or contact off-platform to evade fees, safety, or protections.
- No defamation. Do not make false or misleading statements that damage another user or Knock Knock.
5. Recording, Clips & Consent Conduct
Live sessions may be recorded, and (in a future feature) short clips may be generated for creators to share on social media. Recording and clips are governed by the recording-consent terms in the Consumer and Creator Terms of Use and by the Privacy Policy. As a matter of conduct:
- No recording without consent. Do not record, screen-capture, or redistribute a session or another participant's image/voice except through Knock Knock's in-product recording feature with the required consent from all participants.
- No misuse of recordings or clips. Do not use a recording or clip to harass, defame, sexualize, deceive, or infringe anyone's rights, or in any way this Policy prohibits.
- Guest likeness. A Creator may only clip or share content containing a Guest's image/voice where the Guest has given the required consent. Guests may decline recording.
6. Reporting Violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this Policy, report it in-app or contact hello@getknockknock.live. Reports involving safety, minors, or imminent harm are prioritized. We may act on reports, on our own detection, or on information from third parties.
Do not use reporting to harass others (false or bad-faith reports are themselves a violation).
7. Enforcement — Removal Teeth
We enforce this Policy to protect users and to keep Knock Knock lawful, payments-safe, and app-store-safe. Enforcement is at our discretion and proportionate to the violation. Depending on severity and history, we may:
Immediate termination — no prior warning — applies to severe violations, including: adult/sexual/explicit content (Section 3.1); any content sexualizing or endangering minors; sexual solicitation; illegal activity; credible threats or violence; fraud; or trafficking/exploitation. Content that sexualizes minors is reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
We may also remove or disable access to any content or account at our discretion where we believe availability is not in the best interests of the platform or its users. We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement.
- Warn — notify you and require you to remove or correct the content/behavior.
- Remove content — take down the offending listing, message, recording, clip, profile element, or session.
- Restrict — limit features (e.g., disable live sessions, listings, payouts, or messaging) pending resolution.
- Suspend — temporarily disable the account.
- Terminate / Ban — permanently remove the account and bar the user from the platform, and where appropriate withhold or reverse payouts for violating transactions (subject to the Creator/Merchant Terms).
8. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may appeal to hello@getknockknock.live within 30 days. We will review and respond. Reinstatement is at our discretion. Appeals do not pause enforcement for severe violations (Section 7).
9. Relationship to the Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
This Policy is part of, and incorporated into, the Consumer Terms of Use and the Creator/Merchant Terms of Use. Defined terms, dispute-resolution, limitation-of-liability, and indemnification provisions in those Terms apply to conduct under this Policy. Data collected in connection with enforcement (reports, recordings, account data) is handled per the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated per the notice terms in the Terms of Use (at least 30 days' notice for material changes, consistent with the fee/program-change notice). Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
